Duane Waterman Recitalist Supreme
This is a Recitalist Supreme model made about 7 years ago. The Recitalist Supreme model was introduced in 1987 and has been my highest concert model with aged Master grade Brazilian rosewood, and matching Brazilian rosewood neck. The rosewood neck is not only very smooth and easy - almost sensual - to play but the stiffness and higher density of the rosewood enhances the quality of the tone and sustain of the notes. While the body is lacquered this rosewood neck is lightly oiled with a very natural feel.
The top is cedar, thinner than normal, with satin lacquer finish. The top has been re-finished recently to remove marks and wear from 6 years of playing. New Waverly tuners and a new fiberglass flight case have been added to bring this guitar up to almost new condition. This model instrument made new is $7500, this great guitar is available for $6000 through this site.
The action height is moderate to low, plays very easily with a beautiful voice, matured over 6 years of playing. See and here the attached video.
